October 9, 2017 – Week 54!
This week was pretty good! To start out, we had a baptism on Saturday! Hna Esther was baptized, after having had visits from the missionaries for more than 4 years. Now was her time. God prepares people, and as missionaries we have to really listen to the guidance of the spirit to know what He would have us do. I know that to be true. A baptism is never easy, and many times trials will pass by. Whether it be trying to heat up water using a huge pot on a stove in the kitchen of the church, or accidentally locking the keys in the sacrament meeting room and having to use whatever long pole was available in the church to reach them through a barred window, things will work out as you rely on God and have faith! It was a joy in the ward to have this baptism though. Hermana Esther knows many members, so there was a lot of support from the ward during the baptism and after as well!
