Elder Preston Bruner

Crazy! This week has been crazy but not too crazy. More awesome than crazy! More crazy for the fact that we have a lot of investigators with baptismal dates now, so we will have to work hard to make sure that none of the dates fall through! We had intercambios this week, and I was able to go to Zarate to work with Elder Jarvis. That sector is different from ours. No hills, more grass and parks, and more clean air haha. The atmosphere is different and the people show it in their attitude! Crazy how that works. It was nice to work in a plain-ground sector for a day! I learned a lot from Elder Jarvis on how to always be happy and excited in lessons, and I got some great counsel to take back to Caja de Agua! This week we had a new investigator named Milagros. She's 17 and when we taught her, she understood the Restoration! She sadly kinda disappeared and wasn't able to go to church this week, but we are hoping to find her soon so she can keep learning more about the gospel...

GREAT WEEK THIS WEEK! To start off, we are making some progress in how we are working in our sector. We decided to visit first a family who was in the list of some "cool people", and when we called, they still remembered the missionaries and accepted a visit! So we went and visited them. The mom's name is Ruth, and she's a police. We shared the Restoration with her, and she was interested! We also shared a scripture in the Book of Mormon that she needed at that moment, and she said "everytime the missionaries come, they share what I need at the perfect time". It was great! She also came to church on Sunday and had read her Book of Mormon! She accepted a baptismal date for the 28th of April, so I hope she keeps progressing! AAAAHHHHH Time goes too fast to write each monday. There's so much I've gotta write in so little time!  Well, to start off. CONFERENCE WAS AMAZING! I still need to watch two talks because our wifi signal cut out as we were watching the sessions in English, so I can't wait to receive even more revelation here after the conference! 7 new temples, a new Ministering program, and a combined Elders Quorum will be SO AWESOME! I can't wait to see these new changes implemented. This jsut gave me a confirmation that this Is the Church of Jesus Christ. No other will make so many changes to make sure that the members are becoming more like Christ in all they do. I have such a strong testimony that this is the Church of Jesus Christ... There is no doubt in my mind. Just hearing the Prophet and Apostles and other general authorities gave me such a comfort in my mind and in my heart. They really are guided by the Lord to teach us and guide us here in our mortal journey! Also, the...

This week has been great! To start out, we had a baptism this week! The young man who was baptized is named Brandon. He is the younger brother of a recent convert who was baptized in January right before I came to the sector. We have been working with him for a good long time now, and it's been great to see the changes he's made in his life to be able to get to this point of baptism! It's always great to see a child of God enter into the waters of baptism and enjoy it! Now we'll be working on getting him to the temple so that he can enjoy the blessings that come from temple attendance too! He has  adesire to enter, and even prayed to be able to go into the temple! If things all work out, we'll have a future missionary here in a couple years! This week during district meeting I was able to use Sour Patch kids to teach a little lesson on repentance.
