This week was pretty great! We had 6 new investigators this week. We've been able to have one lesson with each of them, and I hope that we can have more later! We've been passing by their houses lots, but sometimes time is against us, and they're always busy. We'll keep attempting! This week, we took advantage of lunch time, and the big TV that our pensionista has, and we watched 17 Miracles and Ephraim's rescue on the TV. It's cool to watch church movies on a big screen like that! So inspirational those stories of the pioneers. It motivates me to keep up good work and to keep up my faith, so if it's necessary, I can perform miracles too! We also had our district meeting this week. We have a new district leader! Elder Quakkenbush (idk how to spell his last name). He's from the US. This week was also cool, because we had the opportunity to play soccer (futbol) with the ward again! We can play with them once a month. The day we went to pla...

Well, this week was pretty great! We had stake conference, which was for sure the highlight of the week. We entered, and they had a women's choir, and a little orchestra too! Someone was playing the piano, the flute, the harp, and the violin. All the instruments permitted in a sacrament meeting. It was very spiritual and amazing to hear hymns played so professionally. It seemed like a little general conference! I loved it. Alberto also came to the stake conference! It was in the IRU building (institute building), and it was on the 2nd floor, with Video and sound broadcasted to the 1st floor for others to watch. President and Hermana Larson were there, and also a member of the Lima Temple presidency as well as his wife were there. It was good to hear so many messages! One of them that I like is that we need to be sure we're reading books and spending less time in front of electronics. They told the story that was told I think in a general conference about a boy named Ben, who w...

8 MONTHS AS OF YESTERDAY! How crazy is that? This week has been pretty good! Today we aren't having P day because on Thursday we'll be going to the temple! It will be a great day. This week I was a bit sick with a sore throat, but it didn't stop me from working! I'm glad I've never been sick enough to have to stay home all day. I wanna just work and not have to stay home. It feels like wasting time in the mission to stay home, even if you're sick. I know the Lord's blessing me so I can keep blessing others! This week we also had the multizone conferences. It was a great day. I learned lots, and I hope to take all that I learned and put it to work! After 8 months in the mission, I realize time goes by fast. There are elders leaving that I knew when I first got here. Some of my first zone leaders are finishing their missions. This really is the work of the Lord, and it will go by in a blink, so I'm working to make sure I'm using my time be...
